We seek a Climate Modelling Analyst to join our ranks and participate in new and exciting cutting-edge projects.

Responsibilities
You will be involved in the following activities:
Analyze clients’ activities, assess and select the relevant ESG and climate-related indices according to the clients’ reporting needs (e.g. for sustainability reporting, rating agencies).
Help our clients collect and organize sustainability and climate change- related data.
Collaborate with the data and modelling teams to source required data, develop climate scenario models, and determine how to best integrate climate risk data into our product.
Contribute to the development, maintenance and optimization of our Sustainability Risk and Reporting platform.
Monitor and record trends and advances on Sustainability, Climate Change, ESG and Sustainable Finance, international frameworks for incorporation into our products and services.
Assist clients on climate risk management processes, policies and framework, including risk identification, measurement, monitoring and integration of climate risk into the enterprise risk framework.
Enhance methodologies and update analytics around climate physical and transitional risks quantification, scenario analysis and risk modeling.
Review data availability and relevance of external databases (climate variables, socio-economic variables, transition to net-zero etc.) to maximise our knowledge.
Requirements
We would like you to have:
Master’s Degree in Environmental, Climate, Natural Sciences, Engineering or closely related fields such as actuarial, or data science.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills: comfortable working with large datasets
2-3+ years’ of experience with Python or R programming.
Technical understanding of climate-related risks including physical risks and climate policy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and in English.
Ability to convey information clearly, accurately and succinctly.
Attention to detail and thorough approach to work.
Ability to draft high-impact presentations and documentation.
Organizational and team working skills.
Extra Awesome
The following will be considered as assets:
Knowledge of Sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g. TCFD, CSRD, SFDR).
Work experience in risk modelling, climate science, or related fields.
Demonstratable work experience with climate scenarios, e.g. NGFS, IEA, IPCC SSP-RCPs, etc.
Experience in working on (scientific) projects.
Experience of working with geospatial data (.tif, .shp, .nc) is a benefit
Experience with databases like MongoDB, SQL etc.
Experience with the development of interactive dashboards to visualize information for communication to stakeholders (e.g. using Power BI or similar tools).
